DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF EMPLOYMENT:
Key Highlights:
1. Retail and dispensary:
Dispensing of controlled and highly scheduled medications
Acquiring of patient counselling skills and drug utilisation review experience
OTC prescribing and counselling skills
Interpretation and dispensing of acute and chronic prescriptions in accordance with State Health
protocols.
Participation in all professional awareness campaigns and ongoing education programs specialized

2. QA in pharmaceutical Distribution:
Ensure adherence to Pharmacy Council regulations, Pharmacy Act, Medicines and Related Substances
Control Act as amended and adherence to Code of Practice, Good Pharmacy Practice and Good
Distribution Practice; correct receipt, storage and handling of stock; proper records are kept and that
Standard Operating Procedures are trained and adhered to, compliance with legal requirements related to
a pharmaceutical company; the safety, efficacy and control of products.
