Vision and mission: The fundamental ingredients associated with objectives of the leadership
task are as under:
a. One should envision future to inspire the leading members of the organization for determining
the proper course of action of the organization; because leader should have the quality and
concern to judge honesty of employees.
b. As a team leader one should have the quality and ability to use power effectively in
responsible manner, and should also have the ability to comprehend that all human beings have
different motivational forces at different times and different situations.
c. The leader should possess the quality to promote and develop the favorable, helpful and
encouraging academic environment which is responding and arousing motivational capacity for
the workers in an organization.
d. The leader should use few bases of power; these are use of the power in legitimate way and
should avoid coercive power. Rather using coercive power one should use reward power that is
possible through proper cognitive motivational capabilities of the leader that is, by picking up
right man for right job.
