This document discusses currency hedged return calculations. It presents formulas for calculating unhedged, perfectly hedged, real-world hedged, and money market hedged foreign asset returns. The perfect hedge eliminates currency risk by entering a forward contract. Real-world and money market hedges only hedge the initial value, so can be over or under hedged. Numerical examples show the approximations are very close under normal markets but diverge more in turbulent times.

Introduction to Interest Rate Models by Antoine SavineAntoine Savine
Antoine Savine's Introductory lecture notes to Interest Rate Models for financial derivatives valuation, risk management and regulations.
The presentation is designed for a professional audience of quantitative analysts, developers, traders and risk managers. It was given internally in Danske Bank in Q1 2018 and received excellent feedback.
The presentation does not shy away from mathematics. It focuses on the Heath-Jarrow-Morton (1992) approach and the Markov (Cheyette) family of interest rate models and the notions of arbitrage, risk premium and risk factors.

The data widgets in Ext GWT3 have been completely rewritten. Rather than using renderers in 2.x, the new data widgets are GWT Cell-based. In this session you will learn about the changes and how to use the new API.
Colin Alworth has been a member of the Ext GWT community for a number of years, and has joined the team to contribute to 3.0’s successful release. With several years of Javascript, GWT, and Ext GWT experience, he brings real-world knowledge and use cases to Sencha’s next generation of GWT tools and components.
The definition we used presents the ideal view of (riskless) arbitrage. “Arbitrage,” in the
real world, involves some risk (the lower, the closer to the pure definition of arbitrage). We will
call this arbitrage pseudo arbitrage.
Options Pricing The Black-Scholes ModelMore or .docxhallettfaustina
*
Options Pricing: The Black-Scholes ModelMore or less, the Black-Scholes (B-S) Model is really just a fancy extension of the Binomial Model.
(Fancy enough, however, to win a Nobel Prize…).
*
How B-S extends the Binomial Model1. Instead of assuming two possible states for future exchange rates, and thus returns (i.e., “up” and “down”), B-S assumes a continuous distribution of returns, R, so that returns can take on a whole range of values.
Binomial B-S
*
How B-S extends the Binomial ModelIn fact, exchange rate returns are approximately normally distributed, so this is a “reasonable” assumption:
*
How B-S extends the Binomial Model2. Instead of just one time period, B-S assumes multiple time periods and that the time between periods is instantaneous (i.e., continuous).
(See lecture)
Also, the time between periods t=0, t=1, t=2, etc. shrinks to zero, so that spot rate is changing at every instant.
*
How B-S extends the Binomial ModelThis is more realistic, since actual currency trades take place on a second-to-second, nearly continuous basis.
*
How B-S extends the Binomial ModelIt turns out that these two extensions are enough to make the math very hard. Thus, deriving the B-S model is no easy task.
The most important thing to recognize is that despite the above complications, the basic underlying approach of the B-S model remains the same…
*
How B-S extends the Binomial Model3. Create a replicating portfolio and price the option using a no-arbitrage argument.Calculate NS and NB: Now, since these are constantly changing over time, this process is called “dynamic hedging”.Replicating portfolio:It turns out that it is possible to use a combination of foreign currency and USD, and now in addition, options themselves, to form a riskless portfolio (i.e., return is known for sure).No-arbitrage: Riskless portfolios must have the same price as risk-free securities, otherwise arbitrage is possible. Use this fact to figure out c.
*
The Black-Scholes Options Pricing FormulaPutting the above all together, we get the Black-Scholes formula for pricing a European call option on foreign currency:
where
and S, X, T as before
r = domestic risk-free rate, r* = foreign risk-free rate
s = volatility of the foreign currency (sd of returns).

Currently there are no website or exchange that allow buying or selling of pi coins..
But you can still easily sell pi coins, by reselling it to exchanges/crypto whales interested in holding thousands of pi coins before the mainnet launch.
Who is a pi merchant?
A pi merchant is someone who buys pi coins from miners and resell to these crypto whales and holders of pi..
This is because pi network is not doing any pre-sale. The only way exchanges can get pi is by buying from miners and pi merchants stands in between the miners and the exchanges.
How can I sell my pi coins?
Selling pi coins is really easy, but first you need to migrate to mainnet wallet before you can do that. I will leave the what'sapp contact of my personal pi merchant to trade with.

financial assets represent claim for future benefit or cash. Financial assets are formed by establishing contracts between participants. These financial assets are used for collection of huge amounts of money for business purposes.
Two major Types: Debt Securities and Equity Securities.
Debt Securities are Also known as fixed-income securities or instruments. The type of assets is formed by establishing contracts between investor and issuer of the asset.
• The first type of Debit securities is BONDS. Bonds are issued by corporations and government (both local and national government).
• The second important type of Debit security is NOTES. Apart from similarities associated with notes and bonds, notes have shorter term maturity.
• The 3rd important type of Debit security is TRESURY BILLS. These securities have short-term ranging from three months, six months, and one year. Issuer of such securities are governments.
• Above discussed debit securities are mostly issued by governments and corporations. CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSITS CDs are issued by Banks and Financial Institutions. Risk factor associated with CDs gets reduced when issued by reputable institutions or Banks.
Following are the risk attached with debt securities: Credit risk, interest rate risk and currency risk
There are no fixed maturity dates in such securities, and asset’s value is determined by company’s performance. There are two major types of equity securities: common stock and preferred stock.
Common Stock: These are simple equity securities and bear no complexities which the preferred stock bears. Holders of such securities or instrument have the voting rights when it comes to select the company’s board of director or the business decisions to be made.
Preferred Stock: Preferred stocks are sometime referred to as hybrid securities, because it contains elements of both debit security and equity security. Preferred stock confers ownership rights to security holder that is why it is equity instrument
Equity securities as a whole is used for capital funding for companies. Companies have multiple expenses to cover. Potential growth of company is required in competitive market. So, these securities are used for capital generation, and then uses it for company’s growth.
Concluding remarks
Both are employed in business. Businesses are often established through debit securities, then what is the need for equity securities. Companies have to cover multiple expenses and expansion of business. They can also use equity instruments for repayment of debits. So, there are multiple uses for securities. As an investor, you need tools for analysis. Investment decisions are made by carefully analyzing the market. For better analysis of the stock market, investors often employ financial analysis of companies.
