This project proposal outlines designs to help solve storage and organization issues at Yayasan Sunbeams Home. The home houses over 100 children and received donated kayaks but lacks proper storage. A kayak rack and key box are proposed. The kayak rack would be made of timber with wheels to hold and easily move kayaks. A key box with hooks and logbook would organize and track over 60 keys. The schedule outlines constructing the designs throughout October and November 2017.

2. Site Overview
Yayasan Sunbeams Home (YSH), a non-governmental,
self-supporting multi-racial foundation and is home to displaced,
abused and neglected children of single-parents. Started in 1995
by Pastor Alvin Tan and his wife.
From a home of first two half-brothers the Taman Mawar home
has grown to a total of 106 children consisting of boys and girls.
This number includes children from our Alor Gajah Branch,
Ampang Branch, Teratai Branch & Day Care children. The children
range from 3 years to 23 years old.
4. Issue 1
A total of 17 kayaks are donated to Yayasan Sunbeams Home for
the children to play with. They are recently used in a kayak
adventure to raise funds for the organisation,
However, Sunbeams home does not have a suitable way to store
the kayaks. Kayaks on the bottom of the pile would be damaged
under pressure over time.
5. Yayasan Sunbeams home has lots of keys as they have many
rooms to accommodate more than 100 children. As of now,
Sunbeams home do not have a proper system to keep track of
the key bearers.
Many issues of confusion arise from the mishandling of keys.
Keys tend to go missing and extra cost is required to create a
duplicate set of keys.
