• Blockchain Technology - a decentralized, trustless ledger, on which only
additional can be made, hence the ledger history CANNOT be changed. All
computers on the blockchain have the ledger. 

• Cryptocurrency - a virtual currency that uses encryption to prevent “double
spending”

economic exchange. It is the medium in which prices and values are
expressed. It circulates from person to person, facilitating trade, and it is the

According to the IMF, money can be anything that can serve as

• Store if value which means people can save it and use it later - smoothing their
purchases over time;

• Unit of account, that is, provide a common base for prices

• Medium of exchange, something that people can use to buy and sell from one
another
