Už 8 rokov usilujú aktivisti lesoochranárskeho združenia VLK a bratislavskej občianskej iniciatívy BROZ o vytvorenie prvej bratislavskej rezervácie karpatského lesa. Po mnohých mesiacoch príprav sme predložili návrh na vyhlásenie rezervácie aj s petíciou.

2. Plitvická jezera byla prohlášena národním parkem a patří mezi nejkrásnější přírodní dědictví Evropy. Plitvice tvoří krásná hornatá krajina plná lesů, ve které leží, jedno pod druhým, šestnáct překrásných jezer modrozelené barvy. Kvůli své jedinečnosti a kráse byl roku 1979 Národní park Plitvička jezera zapsán do listiny světových přírodních památek UNESCO. Krása jezer, vodopádů, bohatý rostlinný i živočišný svět, čistý horský vzduch, procházky po lesních stezkách a dřevěných mostcích, pohodlné hotely a restaurace domácího stylu přitahují ročně téměř milion turistů. Největší hodnota a krása parku Plitvice spočívá v šestnácti jezerech, která se vlévají jedno do druhého systémem vodopádů, a také vyjímečnou bohatostí flóry a fauny.
