in India
• A sort of utter madness of
enjoying cricket by watching
or playing or discussing
among the people.
• A synonym can be used for
Cricket Mania which is
cricket fever.
• It is usually observed across
South Asia where cricket is
the most popular game!
• Although cricket is not the
official national sport in
India.

excitement and a greater fan
following than the official

other sport in India can claim
the position of cricket in
respect to its popularity and
revenue generation.
