Every year in Guardea, Italy, citizens create nativity scenes called "cribs" that are displayed in streets, gardens, churches, and other public places for visitors to see as part of the "Cribs in the Streets" event. Photos are included of various cribs ranging from simple to detailed, including ones located in a cave, garden, barrel on a tree, oven, and parish church. Local traditional foods can also be sampled where the cribs are displayed.
