The document provides instructions for two creative colour practical assessments: painting and trend interpretation.
For the painting practical, the student must complete a holistic look using a painting technique on one model. Steps of the technique are outlined.
For the trend interpretation practical, the student must present their interpretation of a current trend and apply it to one model's hair colour. Process photos and a description of the finished look are required.

Michelle came in looking for a change in her overall hair
color. She had a haircut done about 2 weeks back. She
wanted something different from the regular coloring
that she has been doing since 3 years. Her 7/ color that
she used before was faded. I offered her with 2 different
tones and shades which would give a trendy effect
based on her requirement. Michelle agreed to the same.
We did discuss on possible changes on the hair cut and
started off.

18. Please describe how satisfied you are with the finished

My focus here was to give a different effect on
Michelle’s hair considering the previously color which
was faded. Here by using the Waterball Technique. I
could not only achieve the two color combos I opted for,
but I could also see the different tonalities vertically as
well as horizontally.
I was very much satisfied with the end result and so was
my model.
