A Voki is an animated avatar that can be used to communicate through voice. Users can create their own Voki avatar by registering for a free account on the Voki website, then customizing the character, choosing a voice, background, and player color before publishing the avatar. Vokis allow students to create speaking assessments or communicate outside the classroom through an animated character they design.
