Re: Letter of Recommendation for Fan Liang
To Whom it May Concern,
I had the great pleasure to work with Fan Liang on several occasions during the development of the
Delphi ITS World Congress demonstration of Vehicle-to-Vehicle, Vehicle-to-Infrastructure and Vehicle-
to-Pedestrian technologies. Fan showed particularly strong technical and personal leadership
capabilities in working with his team of developers in assisting in architecting a networked system for
showcasing the functionality of Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC) equipment. The DSRC
and related equipment was installed on two buses by the University of Michigan Transportation
Research Institute (UMTRI) to be used in transporting ITS professionals and media between the events
in Detroit during the week of Sept. 1.
Fan would be a strong addition to any team requiring strong networking and IT-related capabilities as
well as strong inter-personal and teamwork skills.
