Handicraft: hand + craft
◦hand means made of hand or using simple tools in
making of any item
◦craft means a unique expression that represent a
culture, tradition and the heritage of a country

Cross Stitch Techniques
Starting/Ending a Cross Stitch
1. Loop Method
◦works well if you’re using two strands of thread
◦requires you to pull a strand of thread from the

2. Trap As You Go Method
◦requires leaving a long tail on the back of your
starting stitching, and trapping the thread end as
continue stitching
