The poet lays on the rooftop at night, thinking of his beloved. He sees a special star and asks her to deliver a message to the "Sun of Tabriz" to turn his dark stones to gold with his light. The poet opens his chest to show the star his scars and asks for news of his "bloodthirsty Lover". As he waits and paces, his "child of heart" becomes quiet and sleeps as if being rocked. He asks his beloved to nourish the infant heart and not keep him in a state of dissolution. He has become speechless in this dry mood and asks to be given wine to relieve himself.
