Dear Human Resources Manager:
I would be a perfect candidate for this position due to my eight years experience working
for Shasta County Office of Education as a case manager. My job requires coordinating
supportive services, explaining policy and procedures, providing resources for clients and
providers as well as acting as a liaison between Shasta County Office of Education and
the Shasta County CalWORKs Employment Training program to insure quality support.
My current position involves determining eligibility and explaining policies and
procedures to clients, providers and staff within both agencies. I am co-located working
in the CalWORKs building. I have trained five employees on our computer programs
including CIV a state wide program. My position also requires presenting and educating
clients who start the CalWORKs program about the supportive service of childcare that is
offered to them. This involves explaining state benefit levels, policy and procedures as
well as providing resource and referral information. Therefore, due my analytical work
experience along with my education makes me a qualified candidate.
I would be a great asset and valued team member. I eagerly anticipate an opportunity to
further discuss my experience and qualifications with you. Thank you for your time and
consideration.
Respectfully yours,
