This document provides instructions for completing a Japanese CV (resume) when applying for jobs in Japan. It should include basic personal information, education and employment history, licenses/certificates, and personal qualities/strengths. Photos are also typically included. The CV is submitted together with other application materials and brought to job interviews. Sample CVs are provided that describe computer science education and skills gained in college, interest in creativity and developing applications, and the importance of communication skills. The second sample discusses how to handle human relations issues at work through open communication or forming work teams if a colleague cannot be gotten along with, in order to complete work efficiently.
