Health and fitness have always been a passion of mine. I am very interested in
the Medical devices sales industry. After running my own business as a personal
trainer for several years, I wanted to gain a better understanding of the science
behind how the body works. I completed a degree in sports science, majoring in
psychology, and then went on to complete a postgraduate honors degree in
Biokinetics (which is equivalent to a sports rehabilitation specialist in the UK).
It’s allowed me to gain an in-depth understanding of orthopedics’, chronic
diseases, and pharmacology as well as other related fields.
I have strong customer support and sales background, having worked in the
Information Technology industry in London (U.K) for several years, as a Senior
Installations engineer, my job required sales meetings with prospective clients,
recommending new solutions, and implementing these solutions in their
business to improve function and productivity. I enjoy the interactions with
people from different industries. I worked closely with clients during the whole
process from purchasing the new products, implementation and after sales
follow up and support.
I recently spent time in the field with an experienced medical devices sales rep,
discussed medical procedures with the surgeons, which has further instilled key
skills required in order to excel in this field.
Recently, I completed a Sales Management Course to gain a better understanding
of the sales process. I feel my skills from having worked with people from
different industries and running my own business, have given me a unique
ability to not only work well within a team, but also to work independently
within pressurized environments. I’m confident that my strong scientific
background from my postgraduate degree in sports science (Biokinetics) and
sales management training will be extremely beneficial as a Medical devices
representative.
I’m very interested in working in the medical industry and would be excited at
the opportunity of working in a dynamic environment.
Having spent 10 years working within the Information Technology industry in
Greater London, I’m familiar with the fast paced working environment, and feel
