1. As one who is always excited to hear about new, interesting potential employers, you can imagine how
intriguing this job opening was for me. I’m a young, potential employer that is not only committed to the
cause she works for, but is also able to perform tasks efficiently, and has an extensive interest and
knowledge in computers and what can be done with technology.
Sticking to performing a task is necessary in a business environment. Being in my high school DECA
(business sector) class, I’ve realized how committing to a project is crucial. Being in DECA has required
me to perform reallife business tasks (such as sales), create specific budgets, and write up specific
business tasks (see accompanying resume for further details of DECA). In order to finish those tasks
placed upon me, I’ve had to remain committed and perform those tasks so they get done well.
While taking business classes in high school, it is essential that tasks get done efficiently. While anyone
can get a business task done quickly, quality is still very important. I’ve been placed in many situations in
which tasks were placed upon me and I had a deadline to meet whilst being in DECA. This made me
quickly learn how to use my time wisely to perform my assigned tasks. Time is a very valuable essence,
and I’m aware of how saving time and doing things quickly and efficiently is beneficial for a business.
Even though I’ve taken more business classes than technology classes, I’ve always had an immense love
for technology. Computers have been a major force in my life since I was little, and I’ve always been able
to use them well. I have a strong computer proficiency and am able to operate the majority of operating
systems. While knowing that, I can also use computer programs at a proficient and possibly even
advanced level. I have always been passionate about technology and how it operates,and love working
with or alongside it.
