I am interested in applying for a Science or Special Education teaching position, on the high school level,
in your school district. As a 2006 graduate of University of Texas at Arlington, I have experience with all
levels of high school students, in rural and urban school districts.
I have experience teaching a very diverse range of students anywhere from “At-Risk” Students to
students at a College Preparatory Charter school. The “At-Risk” high school students were at a dropout
prevention program, in Crowley ISD, this position enabled me to provide these students with a chance
to catch up and graduate with their class. I am challenged to be creative, nurturing and most of all,
patient.
Previously, I have taught IPC and Chemistry at Robert E. Lee in Houston, Texas, and IPC at South Hills
High School in Fort Worth, Texas. Both of these schools are also very diverse and allowed me to teach
students from a wide range of backgrounds.
It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic,
intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to your school district. I would welcome an
