This document outlines the plan for a digital video (DV) course. It will begin with a 1-week overview of DV and production techniques. Then it will spend 7 weeks covering the basic forms of DV works - documentary, fiction, and experimental films - through lectures, discussions, and analyzing examples. Students will work in groups to create 2 DV works over the semester, with 1 being required. Their works will be shown and evaluated in class.
