Country Club also takes a step forward in celebrating Krishna Janamashtami with its members. India is a land of varied cultures where there is respect for each culture and tradition. Country Club too makes sure that it celebrates each and every festivity with the equal amount of joy and passion.

The Girl Guide Movement started in 1948 at Musaeus College in Sri Lanka. In 1996, former Girl Guides from the college formed the Ex 23rd Colombo Club to support Guiding, do community projects, and stay connected. One of their first projects was renovating a kids area. professionals, administrators, library support staff, teacher-librarians to attend and participate in a one-day seminar on a topic “Why Libraries Should include Graphic Novels in their Collection”.
The seminar specifically aims to:
a. Provide participants with a good understanding of the importance of graphic novels in the library.
b. To understand the role of graphic novels in the promotion of reading.
c. To learn how to evaluate graphic novels for inclusion in the library’s collection.
This seminar will be on July 24, 2015, from 8:00 AM to 4:00PM at San Beda College Alabang, Multipurpose Hall. The registration fee is Php 500.00 for non-members and
Php 350.00 for members, inclusive of two (2) snacks, lunch, and certificate of participation.

Co-developed by Jefferson Awards for Public Service and Deloitte, it is now in over 250 High Schools.

Students at Oakridge International School in Hyderabad conducted a survey of a neighboring village called Khajaguda and found that 100 low-income families did not have access to safe drinking water. The students organized a bake sale fundraiser at their school, raising 70,000 rupees to purchase water filters. They distributed the filters to the families in Khajaguda and saw the positive impact it had on the community. The students plan to maintain the filters for two years and felt it was a valuable learning experience about compassion and privilege.

We supply free school supplies to Wayne County Children to give them the tools they need to succeed in school. we collected 21,944 supply items and sent them to 25 public schools assisting over 2,000 students.
