This document summarizes the results of a 2015 survey conducted by the Research Resources and Research Networking Core (R3N) of the RCMI Translational Research Network (RTRN). The survey gathered information from 254 respondents across 18 RCMI institutions about their utilization of core resources and services. It found that the most widely used resources were molecular biology, bioinformatics, flow cytometry, and study design/biostatistics. Many respondents had utilized resources at other institutions. The eagle-i search tool was rated as easy to use but most respondents did not find resources relevant to their needs through it. The survey also asked about future core resource needs and provided contact information for R3N.
