Eric Clapton will headline Saturday, June 28th at Hard Rock Calling 2008 in London's Hyde Park, with special guests Sheryl Crow and John Mayer. The Police will headline Sunday, June 29th, accompanied by special guests KT Tunstall and Starsailor. Ambassadors of Rock are back for 2008 continuing their legendary concerts in London's
Hyde Park, under a new name: Hard Rock Calling.
We're delighted to announce headline artists for the concerts on June 28th and 29th,
2008. The legendary Eric Clapton will headline Saturday, June 28th with special guests
Sheryl Crow and John Mayer. The Police are to headline on Sunday, June 29th with
special guests KT Tunstall and Starsailor.
Hard Rock Calling, produced by Live Nation and presented by Hard Rock, is a unique and
historic musical event with a main stage, second stage and many surprises in store for
music and festival fans of all ages.
Live Nation’s VP Promotions Toby Leighton-Pope said: “We are very excited about this
year’s Hard Rock Calling event as we have two amazing headline acts, following on the
tradition from the past two years which saw Roger Waters and The Who and Peter Gabriel
and Aerosmith perform. This year’s headliners will be complemented by a stellar line up
