CoolLipo is a laser lipolysis procedure that uses a 1320nm Nd:YAG laser to destroy fat cells and tighten skin with minimal pain and bruising. The laser energy is absorbed by water in fat cells, destroying them without damaging surrounding tissues. CoolLipo uses a special type of invisible light (near infrared) that destroys fat cells and heats the collagen in the skin to tighten and improve appearance. The treated area is wrapped with a compression bandage, your doctor will recommend how long you are to wear the dressing.
