 Started cooking at noon
   Monday and Wednesday
 Made lasagna, meatballs, and garlic bread
 Took it to the fire station
 Talked to the fire fighters
WHY WE DID IT.

 Firefighters save lives.
 They need to eat.
 They don’t always get their own food.
   Busy on calls.
HOW FIREFIGHTERS HAVE HELPED US

Saved me from choking when I was 2.
Protected possessions in Jacquelynn’s mom’s
 house when she was younger
A family in school had a house fire put out by
 fire fighters
Many people have been saved or helped by
 fire fighters.
IF YOU DIDN’T KNOW,

Fire fighters don’t get food. They have to buy it
 themselves. Along with
  Extra beds
  Mattresses
  Chairs
  Televisions
  Exercise equipment
  Cooking materials
PICTURES
HOW IT WENT.

They were very appreciative
The food was delicious
The students that ate it enjoyed it also.
We were taken on a tour around Station 11.
APPRECIATION

The fire fighters asked why we were doing
 this.
They asked for the name of the school, the
   address, and contact information.
We seemed to make their day.
WE HELPED PEOPLE.

And it felt amazing.
The firefighters seemed so please that I think
I will do this again, on my own.
Making people smile has always been my
 favorite.
