The International Occupational Medicine Society Collaborative (IOMSC) held a meeting in Amsterdam on September 15, 2016. Representatives from occupational medicine societies in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Greece, and Japan presented on the state of occupational medicine in their countries. Key speakers also discussed opportunities and challenges for the IOMSC, and a framework was proposed for sustaining the operations of the IOMSC going forward. Case studies on potential future initiatives were presented from the Netherlands and Japan. The meeting concluded by identifying 1-2 projects for the IOMSC to focus on in the next 1-2 years.
