1. Consignments FAQs & FYIs
• Consignment hours are Wed 10-1 and Thurs 10-12. Consignors may
consign up to 16 items per week either on Wed or Thurs, not both.
• Due to space limitations, all preparation must be done at home.
• It is the consignor’s responsibility to keep up with his/her account and
contract end dates.
• The obligation to find a consignor’s merchandise on the floor belongs
solely to the consignor.
• We reserve the right to refuse any item. Please do not be offended if we
do not accept your items as our skilled staff must rely on past
experience to determine what will sell in our store. Items are selected
based on market demand and space availability.
• All reasonable care will be taken with items left on consignment, but
items are left at the owner’s risk. The store is not responsible for
damage or loss.
• Any items found after consigned that are damaged, do not work, stained
or flawed will be donated.
• Consigners that are not ready for check in at least five minutes before
closing will not be processed that day.
• All Consigning issues (consigning, contracts, reports, checks, etc.) must
be done during consignment hours.
• White dots need to be placed on your items (do NOT staple!) with your
account number, the date, and the price. For books, place the dot on the
spine of the book one inch from the bottom.

15 Point check list when consigning items
1. Current – in season & in style
2. Label/Brand - items with tags removed will not be accepted
3. Overall appearance - no fading, pilling
4. Clean - pressed with no wrinkles, stains or tears, no pet hair
5. Hem - good condition, no fabric tape
6. Edges - no wear on fabric
7. Pockets - no holes, tears or sagging
8. Underarm - no stains including deodorant marks and stains
9. Collar - no stain, make-up, lays well and no excessive wear
10.Buttons - all present and securely sewn
11.Zippers - good working condition
12.Lining - no tears or stains
13.Odor - no pet, smoke, body odor, heavy perfume or moth ball scents
14. Seams – tight
15. Need - what the public wants and what is needed on our sales floor
