kiosk or concierge.
The Connected Platform app is used to scan each
wearable and associate a Unique Identifier (UID)
with the wearer’s email or employee ID.
This data is kept anonymized unless needed by
an authorized user to trace contact after a
confirmed case.
Connected Platform provides full visibility to
battery life and status of all devices on the
network at a glance.
Rather than tracking locations in real
time, BLE devices scan for proximity to
one another as users move throughout
the workspace.
Contact events are registered based on
distance and duration.
Button or badge form factors can be worn on
wristbands, keyrings, lanyards or safety gear.
Connected Platform empowers authorized contact
tracers to log any confirmed cases in the app. Only at
this stage will UIDs be securely matched to employee or
visitor names.
Contact tracers can easily define search data by date
range and degrees of separation, receiving results in
minutes rather than days or weeks. This allows them to
notify affected parties quickly and discreetly in accordance
with your HR policies.
At the end of the workday or visit, BLE
wearables can be left onsite, eliminating
the privacy concerns associated with
GPS-based or real-time tracking solutions
on personal devices.
Default settings register proximity within
6 feet or less for 10 minutes or more — but
can be configured to match unique business
policies or public health guidelines.
Location beacons installed throughout the site also log where users have been, enabling
authorized tracers to also track location events for deep cleaning.
This data is sent to the cloud and on to Connected Platform — ready to be queried in the
event a tracing case is initiated.
