A concentration camp is basically refers to a camp in which people were forced to go to and tortured to do work. Adolf Hitler and the German Nazi Soldiers did not like those kind of people so they decided to put them in camps, called Concentration camps. The people were mostly judged because of their religions and looks (especially Jewish). Concentration camps were first meant for the Jewish, Gypsies, or other slave workers. Some concentration camps are also known as death camps. In 1941 some of the camps started killing the Jewish peopleby poisonous gas and testing medical experiment like diseases and the cure on them. This is howthe gas chamber looks like.
-Early concentration camps were set up in Germany-Then they were all set up across Europe-This map shows the camps set up around Germany and Poland. It’s quite a lot.
