SRAM uses binary cells (BCs) made of flip-flops to store 1-bit values. A 2x4 decoder selects which BC to read from or write to based on address lines. During read, the selected BC's value passes through an AND gate to the output. During write, a new value is written to the selected BC through the AND gate.
