This document evaluates close-up shots captured for a music video. Special lenses and tripods were used to capture extreme close-ups of eyes without the camera wobbling. Examples from Orange is the New Black inspired these shots. Medium close-ups of the singer were also captured, allowing for effects and a focus on facial expressions. Extreme close-ups of a lake were taken to inspire emotion and match the song's slow tempo. In conclusion, the author is happy with the variety of shots that will provide enough footage to fill the song's four minute duration.
The document discusses potential album cover images from a photoshoot. It analyzes four images in increasing detail. The author's favorite image is the fourth one, which shows all the models posing slightly and captures details like Jasmine's stockings. This image represents the indie pop genre through its formal poses and challenges gender norms by having Jasmine stand in front of the male models while playing with her hair. The author feels this fourth image would make for the strongest album cover design.
The band is announcing an upcoming tour along with details of a new album being released. The document displays the band name, tour dates, album name and release date. It also features the album cover art showing a rip/tear effect and repeating design to promote both the tour and upcoming album.
The document discusses the positioning of models in a band photo shoot. The band members are centered and near the front of the frame to make them look important, as is conventional. Jasmine is positioned in the center of the other two models to make her appear more significant and challenge typical gender stereotypes. Features like equipment around the edges need to be removed during editing to look more professional. The white background provides a blank canvas to add indie pop genre-conforming features during editing. Jasmine's body language playing with her hair both feminizes her to attract male viewers but also challenges traditions by making her look more authoritative through her central positioning in front of the band members.

Richard Dyer argues that pop stars are manufactured images created by the music industry to make money, and that they aim to appeal to a range of audiences.
