This document contains four poems: 1) An ode to the blue sky, praising the beauty and healing qualities of the sky. 2) An ode to an old book, appreciating the wisdom and stories contained in old books. 3) An ode to winter, expressing anticipation and fondness for the winter season. 4) An ode to nature, celebrating nature's beauty through sights, sounds, smells and sensations.

1. ODE TO THE BLUE SKY
Sky - Oh clear, bright sky!
How you steal these eyes of mine!
Deep blue is the colour of your magnificence,
That I, a wanderer, have always yearned to find.
How your brightness complement the shine
Of the morning glory of the delightful sun;
Fascinating is the word hidden,
Now freed just to describe your existence!
Sky - oh clear, bright, sky!
I look at you in every season -
Over the clouds of the weeping rain,
Beneath the blankets of heavy pain -
A miracle you bestow in me
Is how you heal, unforeseen.
Oh, how can this heart feel desolate
When that vivid look blends with the smile
Of such wondrous dance of the morning clouds?
ODE TO AN OLD BOOK
Mysterious thing this old book is-
How can it be old yet still new to see?
Dirty brown is the colour of your existence,
That I, a reader, have always looked at.
How your old pages tell many mysteries
Of the past, glory of the present,
And the fate that awaits in every chapter-
Adventurous is the path that wanders
For those, like me, who’re curious readers.
Oh, how mystical! I think of you before I read-
How lies have become a legend,
Misunderstood by those without passion
Telling you are a book of no gain, but I say
Over the pillow in the whispering rain,
Over the roof of my rooms in the cold air,
Beneath your ugly appearance
I know time has preserved your beauty
That within the eyes of a reader, I see,
Within the eyes of the curious; I believe
How old you are is how wise you have been!
ODE TO A WINTER SEASON
Summer walked through the sky
And appeared like a clear, bright, blue dye.
How wondrous, how royal, yet how cruel it was
That I almost wanted to twist the time
Back in spring that the cold air still lingers
Even in the morning rays of the joyful sun;
But winter, my dear winter! How I think now
That in your existence, I patiently wait somehow.
Winter - oh cold, welcoming winter!
I wait for you after every season -
Over the clouds of the summer rain,
Beneath the sheets of the east, spring winds!
Now autumn killed summer with the softest kiss
With eyes of admiration, so pure, and full of bliss;
Dreary, withered days of that lonely fall of November
Swivelled to a sweet, darling winter of December-
Oh in every corners of the world I wait for you,
dearest winter!
ODE TO THE NATURE
I woke up in the first morning of the unending
seasons,
I saw your light! Behind the curtains,
Sky was perfectly blue, perfectly bright,
Perfectly shining through parallel lines!
The birds were flying, insects crawling, leaves swaying
and dancing
Through the cool breeze of the east winds!
At night, stars were twinkling,
Saying “good night, for a great day, tomorrow
brings.”
Nature, my loving Mother Nature!
Of all the experiences to live, I tell you
The best was to see the parallel sky lines,
Hear the birds’ songs, smell the rose petals,
Taste the sweet honey, and feel the cold breeze!
Nature, oh my loving Mother Nature!
How you comfort the desolate soul,
How you prove to me and the people amusingly-
That you are the artful masterpiece of God’s majesty!
