Compassion International is a Christian nonprofit founded in 1952 to address child hunger worldwide. It aims to release children from poverty in Jesus' name through child sponsorship and development programs. Compassion partners with local churches in over 20 countries across Africa, Asia, and Latin America to serve over 1 million children. For $38 per month, sponsors directly support an individual child's education, healthcare, and spiritual development.
