story.

4. Comparison of cartoon and modernism
designs
• There is many differences between cartoon and modernism designs as there cartoon designs
just tend to be a series of sketches which are telling a particular story and in every instance it
changes depending on what ever topic or genre it is. However, modernism art is from the
late 19th century because as post war, modernism had become the art of history. In addition,
cartoon graphics are usually found in magazines or newspapers, whereas modernism
graphics are found displayed on ceilings or in museums. Moreover, modernism art is old
school compared to cartoon designs as it changed methods of the way it was displayed
compared to cartoon which has consistently stayed the same throughout the entire career or
cartoon designs. Additionally, modernism art is made up of styles from the past, so for
example, you would expect to see pictures from WW1 or pictures of the royal family.
Cartoon graphics can be accessed all over the web such as on magazines (e-magazines) that
are placed on the internet. Also, modernism art can be accessed from books (e-books) and
documentary’s on the internet.
