5. Maintenance and Servicing Capabilities
Securtec Systems has a standard call-out procedure for each system installed with 24-hour service.
Securtec Systems endeavors to respond telephonically within the hour and on site within 24 hours
of being notified. Qualified and trained technicians would respond to the specific project with the
necessary tools and stock to attend to the fault(s), should the system require additional
spares, these would be obtained within the shortest time required. Servicing of equipment is
carried out by Securtec Systems either on the site or in-house.
Securtec Systems undertakes after sales service agreements and pride in the in-depth knowledge
of its product base with central documentation for each project undertaken. Quality is an
element of the attitudes of our technicians that has been carefully nurtured and is evident in the
compliments received from clients.
SERVICE QUALITY
Securtec Systems strives for excellence and continuous improvement and in so doing it is policy to
formulate „Quality Management Systems‟ specifically aimed at each business partners‟ unique
requirements rather than via a generic approach. Various initiatives, in conjunction with our

Access Control
Access Control Systems can be stand alone or PC based, with proximity and SmartCard/ MiFare
readers. The Company has installed a variety of Access Control Systems from single door to multi door.
Securtec Systems can provide a system to control all aspects of personnel movement. The recording of
transactions through doors, gates, turnstiles or elevators is easily accomplished. Automatic control of
lighting and air-conditioning can also be achieved. Securtec Systems technicians have extensive
experience with a number of different systems.
Alarms
Securtec Systems provides intruder detection systems for Commercial, Residential and Government
Organisations and has many years experience in installing and servicing all types of Security Alarm
systems. All products, prior to being supported by the company, are thoroughly tested by our
technicians with regard to their features and in particular, to reliability. Securtec‟s systems range from
simple and easy to use general security systems, to some of the most complex system in South Africa.
The addition of Back-to-Base central monitoring for offices and factories means your premises is

Securtec Systems are accredited partners with the suppliers of the most advanced Closed Circuit
Camera equipment in the world and install, supply and commission CCTV Systems for a wide variety
of clients. Securtec systems include full integration with access management systems, with matrix
switchers, multiplexers and digital recording based platforms. These systems have been installed for
various clients eg. Shopping Centre‟s, Factories, Offices and many other Commercial and Government

Central Station Monitoring
Securtec Systems provide the highest standard of Security Control Room Monitoring available in
South Africa. This “Back to Base” monitoring is conducted within our “A-1” Graded central station.

9. Electric Fencing
Electric fencing is highly effective in both detecting an intruder and deterring him from entering
your premises. The quality of your installation is directly related to the effectiveness of your
fence. Wherever possible Electric fences should be wired in series with alternating live and
neutral strands with gaps of no more that 100mm, the final height of your fence should exceed
"crouch height" to prevent stepping over.
Securtec Systems has secured many complexes and Road Closures using a combination of
products including freestanding Electric fencing, wall top electric fencing and palisade fencing.
an average of 99% of these complexes have experienced a total reduction in crime.
Maintenance
Securtec Systems can arrange service and maintenance agreements which are individually tailored
to meet the requirements of each client. Our existing clients include Estates, Government
Departments, and Commercial enterprises. All Securtec Systems technicians have mobile
communications with our head office and can be dispatched without delay.
Securtec Systems maintains an extensive spare parts inventory to ensure, that in the unusual event
of component failure, our customers don‟t suffer any considerable down time. This contingency
