24HRSARMED RESPONSE & MONITORING
FBI Security has a substantial fleet of response vehicles on
permanent patrol 24 hrs a day, 365 days a year, manned by
efficient, highly trained response officers. All FBI Security’s
Response officers are registered with PSIRA and undergo a
strict selection process before being empowered by FBI
SECURITY.
FBI Security guarantees dedicated Armed Response 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week, and also offers a range related services.
These includes a rendezvous service to accompany residents
safely to their front door, special attention calls for those alone
at home, house visits and check patrols during family holidays.
All of these benefits and services apply for both business and
residential customers. FBI Security is currently in a position to
provide Armed Guards.

TRAINING AND
STAFF DEVELOPMENT
Training is the cornerstone of our service delivery, as its not
only An Important skill, but it promotes healthy interaction,
which builds and motivates the entire staff complement in a
competent Pro-active unit. Training of our personnel is as
important as the Selection process and is ongoing. The field
Managers are responsible For the initial SOP training of new
security officers on site.
Our On-Site training will continue with on-the-job training,
by means of mini-lectures covering topics like
· Discipline and Dress Code
· Public relations and telephone procedures
· Duties towards clients and other employees
The On-Site training will also conduct ongoing assessments
of staff members, to determine any further training
requirements. Monthly planning will be done in conjunction
with the client to establish a training programme to improve
the skills of the security officers.

UNIFORM HOURS OF WORK
Our personnel are fully equipped with uniforms that are suitable
to your environment, i.e. corporate clothing, protective clothing,
batons, torches, stationary etc. We have always maintained that
our security officers are your frontline image and therefore they
reflect the image of our client. For this reason it is essential that
they are correctly attired at all time.
In terms of the Statutory Wage Determination Act, FBI Security
is obligated to ensure that all employees work according to the
stipulated agreement. In order to cover a security post on a 24
hour basis on twelve-hour shifts, one would require three
security officers to undertake this task. These relievers are
quoted into the monthly rate per shift.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT
FBI Security provides in-house technical support and is in a
position to provide new installations on Alarms, Electrical
Fencing, Access Control and CCTV, as well as repairs to existing
systems, additions to existing systems and maintenance
agreements on systems.

ELECTRIC FENCING
Perhaps one of the most underestimated security devices is the electrified security fence. An electric fence consists
of a varying number of standards of electric wires, which carries high voltage electric pulse. If the fence is touched it
delivers a non-lethal, but none-the-less extremely powerful shock to a would-be intruder. Ideally, the fence should be
zoned and connected to the property's alarm system so that any tampering on the fence line will result in an alarm
activation.
While in the past a security fence was regarded primarily as a physical barrier designed specifically to delay an
intruder, the modern electric security fence acts in a number of ways which combine to make it a very effective
security intervention:
· It is a physical barrier.
· It is a psychological barrier
· It is an early-detection device
While the fundamentals of an electric fence remains the same, variables such as the number of strands, the
distance between the strands, the length and number of zones as well as the integration with other types of fencing
or walls are determined by the requirements of each individual clients. This ensures that each FBI Security electric
fence installation is uniquely designed to meet the needs of the client. All electric fence installation will be issued
with compliance certification as per the Occupation Health & Safety Act 85 of 1993 (regarding electric fences)
CLOSED CIRCUIT TELEVISION (CCTV)
The Closed Circuit Television Surveillance describes the
use of video cameras to view and transmit a video signal
to a specific set of display monitors and or recording
device. CCTV is often used for security surveillance in
areas such as banks, casinos, airports, military installations
and convenience stores, or in the workplace to monitor
productivity. CCTV systems may operate continuously on
a 24-hour basis, or only as required to monitor or record
a particular event.

REMOTE SURVEILLANCE
Significant improvements in communication technology over the past few years has made Remote Video Surveillance
a viable option in many security and productivity applications. The advantage of remote surveillance is that while a
Close Circuit TV system transmits the video feed to an on-site facility, remote surveillance allows the system to be
monitored from an off-side location. This location could, conceivable, be anywhere in the world, as long as there is a
suitable communication link between the on-site equipment and the off-site location.
ACCESS CONTROL
Few employers want to allow their employee access to all facilities all of the time. That is why more and more are
using electronic access control to limit employee's access to their facilities. At a minimum, an electronic access
control system can be used to allow only employees in to a building after hours, and provide excellent documentation
of when and where employee enter and exit. Access control is the only technology that proactively attempts to keep
unauthorized individuals out of a building or areas within a facility, and is a perfect complement to video surveillance,
burglar and fire systems in a comprehensive security solution. The access control system is an extremely effective
deterrent. It provides a very efficient means of granting entry, while maintaining a high level of building and property
security. By preventing just one serious loss incident per year, an access control system can more than pay for itself.
Access control is the only technology that proactively
attempts to keep unauthorized individuals out of a building
or areas within a facility, and is a perfect complement to
video surveillance, burglar and fire systems in a
comprehensive security solution.

In addition to asset protection, the access control system is your assurance that employees will be protected. Our
system allows entry to only those who are authorized and keep out intruders; we achieve this by restricting who
can go where and when. The electronic access control system allows the client to decide who is allowed entry to
every door and gate by time of day. The access control system not only restricts who can go where and when,
but it provides an audit trial of who is accessing the facilities and when. One can easily find out who was in a
specific area at an exact time that an incident occurred. An access control system also eliminates all the problems
associated with mechanical key and lock systems, e.g. the time and cost of re-keying when an employee is
terminated, the cost of duplicate keys, lost keys, tracking who has keys, worrying about easy-to-duplicate keys
getting in the wrong hands, etc.
INTERCOM SYSTEM

and video intercom system. These allow for the verification and remote control of entry and exit into your home or
business, without you having to leave the safety of the building.

FIRE DETECTION
Because of the speed and totality of the destructive forces of fire, it constitutes one of the more serious threats to any
commercial enterprise. Vandalized or environmentally-damaged structures can be repaired and stolen objects recovered.
Items destroyed by fire, however, are gone forever. An uncontrollable fire can obliterate an entire room's contents within
a few minutes and completely burn out a building in a couple of hours. The first step towards halting a fire is to properly
identify the incident, raise the occupant alarm, and then notify emergency response professionals. This is the function of
a fire detection and alarm system. Several system types and options are available, depending on the specific

INTERNAL PROTECTION
An intruder alarm system is designed to detect intruder presence at your premises.
When detected, a siren will activate and communicate an alarm signal to one of our
highly sophisticated Monitoring Centre, from where an appropriate response will be
coordinated. Intruder systems can either hard-wired or wireless.
The purpose of an intruder alarm system is:

·To deter crime and vandalism.
·To ensure a prompt, armed response services is dispatched in response to an alarm signal
SECURITY BEAMS
Point-to-point beams and outdoor detectors are mounted externally as an early warning system. These devices can
be linked to your alarm system. When the infrared beam is broken or motion is detected by the outdoor security
beams, an alarm will be triggered.
