This document provides examples of common community places and their purposes. It lists 24 places including banks, barber shops, bus stops, churches, coffee shops, fire stations, furniture stores, gas stations, gyms, hospitals, parks, pet shops, playgrounds, police stations, post offices, restaurants, schools, supermarkets, swimming pools, temples, toy stores, zoos, airports, ice cream shops, jewelry stores, and movie theaters. For each place it provides a brief definition and 3 examples of how that place might be used.

10. Gym Place where you can

11. Hospital
Place where you go when
there is an emergency or
you are sick.

12. Park
Place where you go
to relax, has a lot of
grass and trees.

13. Pet shop
Place where you can
buy a pet like dogs or
cats.

14. Playground Place where you can
