This document outlines plans for a new Catholic family holiday conference called ARISE, modeled after an existing UK conference called Celebrate. The conference aims to provide Catholic families an environment where they can strengthen their faith together through daily mass, talks, youth programs, and community. It will be held in March/April 2016 at a resort in County Waterford, Ireland. Organizers are inviting Catholic ministries and groups to participate by running aspects of the conference like youth streams, liturgy, and other services. The goal is to support Catholic families and stem youth detachment from the faith in Ireland.
A Keynote Address at the Anglican Students' Federation [ASF Namibia] by the ASF Namibia Chairperson, Mr. Fillemon Shilongo, on behalf of the main speaker of the event, The Right Bishop of Anglican Diocese of Namibia.
Hills Baptist Church is a vibrant community of faith located in the beautiful Adelaide Hills. We are made up of approximately 800 people of all ages and stages who gather together to worship God at our two locations in Aldgate and Littlehampton. We are not perfect people, but we are people who want to know and follow Jesus and be a blessing to our community and world.
The story of our Church began 50 years ago when a small group of people met together in the lounge room of someone’s home and began praying for a Baptist Church to be established in Aldgate. God has been faithful to those prayers and over the past 48 years Aldgate Baptist has been a place of worship, community, mission and transformation. Two years ago we planted a new church community in Littlehampton which currently meets at Littlehampton Primary School.
Most recently we changed our name to Hills Baptist Church to better represent who we are. Our vision is simply this: to see Jesus glorified, lives transformed and hope revealed. If you are looking for a new Church home, or just wanting to find out more about God we would love you to join us.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
