2. Nickelodeon Family Resort
San Diego, CA
2007
The Nick Hotel is a 650 key destination resort
encompassing 1.2 million S.F. surrounding a
100,000 S.F. water park. Circles provide the
organizing principle for the immersive environ-
ment that is characterized by a cacophony of
architectural form, color and audio/visual
content. The design is an expression of “Kid
Modern”, the sophisticated architectural
language developed for the project that
expresses the Nickelodeon brand. This is
anticipated to be the prototype for similar
Nick Hotels around the world.

3. T-Rex Cafe
Kansas City, KS
2005
T-Rex is a prehistoric, interactive eating
and retail experience for kids & adults
alike. Life-like and Life sized animatronic
dinosaurs roar to life and provide
entertainment & educational opportunities.
The concept is scheduled to be rolled out
to multiple U.S. locations including
Downtown Disney in Orlando, Florida.
General Mills Cereal Adventure
Mall of America
Bloomington, MN
2003
Our team worked with General Mills executives and marketing leaders to open
an indoor, 3-D themed environment at the Mall of America. It’s purpose was to
feature their cartoon cereal characters and educate the public, in a fun,
interactive way. It featured the cereal making process and the healthy benefits
of whole grain cereal. The creative team worked for over a year conceptualizing,
developing stories and guest experiences for this project. These experiences
included walking the guests through cereal making from seed to shelf ,to
introducing kids to their favorite 2-D characters, but in a 3-D “Off the Box”
adventure, to letting kids create and make their own custom box of cereal.
