Amazon has revolutionized how people search for information and connect with each other online. It collects vast amounts of social data from customers' searches, purchases, locations and social connections. Amazon analyzes these social data to gain insights into customer needs and predict purchasing behaviors. It uses these insights to optimize its supply chain, tailor marketing and product recommendations to individuals, and improve the customer experience. Amazon's collection and use of social data has helped transform it from an online retailer to a model for customer-centric "WE-commerce."
Similarity measures for web service composition modelsijwscjournal
A Web service composition is an interconnected set of multiple specialized Web service operations, which
complement each other to offer an improved tool capable of solving more complex problems. Manual
design and implementation of Web service compositions are among the most difficult and error prone tasks.
To face this complexity and to reduce errors at design time, the developer can alternatively search and
reuse existing compositions that have solved similar problems. Thus the problem of designing and
implementing Web service compositions can be reduced to the problem of finding and selecting the
composition closest to an initial specification. To achieve this goal, there is the need to define and use
similarity measures to determine how close is a given composition with respect to any given specification.
Comparison of Web service compositions can be done using two possible sources: composition designs
(models), and execution logs of compositions. In particular, in this paper a set of similarity measures are
described for Web service composition models. The main objective is to measure and assess the degree of
closeness between two given compositions of Web services regardless of their modelling language.
DSE and CSE are the two stock exchanges in Bangladesh. DSE was established in 1954 while CSE was established in 1995. Trading activities started after Bangladesh gained independence in 1976. Both exchanges introduced automated screen-based trading in 1998. DSE currently has 250 members while CSE has 148 members. The exchanges are self-regulatory but their activities are regulated by various acts and rules. Research has found that the Bangladesh stock market is inefficient and does not fully reflect all available information. The market experienced a surge and crash in 1996-1997 but saw a steady increase from 2009-2010 before declining again.
Nowadays web pages are implemented in various kinds of languages on the Web and web crawlers are
important for search engine. Language specific crawlers are crawlers that traverse and collect the relative
web pages using the successive URls of web page. There are very few research areas in crawling for
Myanmar Language web sites. Most of the language specific crawlers are based on n-gram character
sequences which require training documents. The proposed crawler differs from those crawlers. The
proposed crawler searches and retrieves Myanmar web pages for Myanmar Language search engine. The
proposed crawler detects the Myanmar character and rule-based syllable threshold is used to judgment the
relevance of the pages. According to experimental results, the proposed crawler has better performance,
achieves successful accuracy and storage space for search engines are lesser since it only crawls the
relevant documents for Myanmar web sites.
NEGOTIATION ON A NEW POLICY IN SERVICEijwscjournal
During interactions between organizations in the field of service-oriented architecture, some security requirements may change and new security policies addressed. Security requirements and capabilities of Web services are defined as security policies. The purpose of this paper is reconciliation of dynamic security policies and to explore the possibility of requirements of the new defined security policies.During the process of applying the defined dynamic policy, is checked whether the service provider can accept the new policy or not. Therefore, the compatibility between existing policies and new defined
policies are checked, and because the available algorithms for sharing between the two policies, resulted in duplication and contradictory assertion, in this paper for providing a compromise between the provided policy and the new policy, the fuzzy inference method mamdany is used . and by comparing the security level of proposed policy with the specified functionality, the negotiating procedure is done . The difference between the work done in this paper and previous works is in fuzzy calculation and conclusion for
negotiations. the advantages of thi work is that policies are defined dynamically and applied to bpel , also can be changed independently of bpel file.
The document discusses strategy maps and strategic perspectives. It explains that a strategy map consists of four perspectives: financial, customers, internal processes, and learning and growth. The financial perspective focuses on profitability and sales growth. The customers perspective focuses on loyalty and customer satisfaction. The internal processes perspective focuses on quality of service, and the learning and growth perspective focuses on incentive schemes and employee satisfaction. The document provides examples of objectives for each strategic perspective.
FUZZY-BASED ARCHITECTURE TO IMPLEMENT SERVICE SELECTION ADAPTATION STRATEGYijwscjournal
One of the main requirements in service based applications is runtime adaptation to changes that occur in
business, user, environment, and computational contexts. Changes in contexts lead to QOS degrade.
Continues adaptation mechanism and strategies are required to stay service based applications(SBA) in
safe state. In this paper a framework for runtime adaptation in service based application isintroduced. It
checks user requirements change continuously and dynamically adopts architecture model. Also it checks
providers QOS attributes continuously and if adaptation requirement is triggered, runs service selection
adaptation strategy to satisfy user preferences. Thusit is a context aware and automatically adaptable
framework for SBA applications. Wehave implemented a fuzzy based system for web service selection unit.
Due to ambiguity of context’s data and cross-cutting effects of quality of services, using fuzzy would result
an optimised decision. Finally we illustrated that using of it has a good performance for web service based
applications.

The document discusses integrating loosely coupled systems using a service-oriented architecture (SOA) approach. It proposes a generalized model to integrate various data sources related to a student admission process. The model uses SOA and web services to integrate student application, merit list generation, admission, and banking modules without changing their underlying business logic. This allows retrieving a student's application status, checking if they are on the merit list, assessing financial status, and recommending an education loan from compared banking options if needed. The integrated system provides a single interface to get information previously spread across different platforms and applications.
Web Services Discovery and Recommendation Based on Information Extraction and...ijwscjournal
This paper shows that the problem of web services representation is crucial and analyzes the various
factors that influence on it. It presents the traditional representation of web services considering traditional
textual descriptions based on the information contained in WSDL files. Unfortunately, textual web services
descriptions are dirty and need significant cleaning to keep only useful information. To deal with this
problem, we introduce rules based text tagging method, which allows filtering web service description to
keep only significant information. A new representation based on such filtered data is then introduced.
Many web services have empty descriptions. Also, we consider web services representations based on the
WSDL file structure (types, attributes, etc.). Alternatively, we introduce a new representation called
symbolic reputation, which is computed from relationships between web services. The impact of the use of
these representations on web service discovery and recommendation is studied and discussed in the
experimentation using real world web services.
Speeding Up the Web Crawling Process on a Multi-Core Processor Using Virtuali...ijwscjournal
A Web crawler is an important component of the Web search engine. It demands large amount of hardware
resources (CPU and memory) to crawl data from the rapidly growing and changing Web. So that the
crawling process should be a continuous process performed from time-to-time to maintain up-to-date
crawled data. This paper develops and investigates the performance of a new approach to speed up the
crawling process on a multi-core processor through virtualization. In this approach, the multi-core
processor is divided into a number of virtual-machines (VMs) that can run in parallel (concurrently)
performing different crawling tasks on different data. It presents a description, implementation, and
evaluation of a VM-based distributed Web crawler. In order to estimate the speedup factor achieved by the
VM-based crawler over a non-virtualization crawler, extensive crawling experiments were carried-out to
estimate the crawling times for various numbers of documents. Furthermore, the average crawling rate in
documents per unit time is computed, and the effect of the number of VMs on the speedup factor is
investigated. For example, on an Intel® Core™ i5-2300 CPU @2.80 GHz and 8 GB memory, a speedup
factor of ~1.48 is achieved when crawling 70000 documents on 3 and 4 VMs.
WEB SERVICE COMPOSITION PROCESSES: A COMPARATIVE STUDYijwscjournal
Service composition is the process of constructing new services by combining several existing ones. It considered as one of the complex challenges in distributed and dynamic environment. The composition process includes, in general, the searching for existing services in a specific domain, and selecting the appropriate service, then coordinating composition flow and invoking services. Over the past years, the problem of web service composition has been studied intensively by researchers. Therefore, a significant amount of solutions and new methods to tackle this problem are presented. In this paper, our objective is to investigate algorithms and methodologies to provide a classification of existing methods in each composition phase. Moreover, we aim at conducting a comparative study to discover the main features and limitation in each phase in order to assist future research in this area.

ADAPTIVE MODEL FOR WEB SERVICE RECOMMENDATIONijwscjournal
The document describes a web service recommendation model that applies data mining techniques like the Apriori algorithm to associated web services that users have used together in the past. It analyzes user history data from a curated web service registry to find frequent itemsets of services used together. The model then recommends additional services to users based on the confidence levels of associated itemsets that include the service the user selected. The model was tested on the BioCatalogue registry and was able to recommend new services to 70% of users beyond what they discovered on their own.

The document discusses the role of soils in storing global carbon and the impacts of land use changes like deforestation and agriculture on depleting soil organic carbon. It focuses on soils in African rangelands, noting that biological soil crusts play a key role in carbon storage by photosynthesizing carbon that becomes soil organic carbon. Light grazing can increase soil organic carbon by improving soil structure, but intense grazing reduces crusts and carbon storage, increasing carbon dioxide emissions. While optimized grazing management could reduce emissions and maximize carbon storage, achieving this involves cultural and environmental challenges in communal grazing systems.
