Chris Payne Draft Speech
We would like to welcome the family, friends, and community partners of High Point to
the inaugural Family Fun Festival. We are happy to have you here to celebrate our first
successful year as the High Point Center for Children and Families. This year has been full of a
lot of ups and downs, but we have weathered the storm and are happy to be able to help those in
the High Point community who need it.
My name is Dr. Chris Payne. I am the Director of the High Point Center for Children and
Families. Some of you here may not know what we are all about, so I wanted to give you all a
quick overview of what we do here at the Center. We offer services to families who may find
themselves in difficult situations. Our mission is to welcome everyone from all walks of life with
open arms. We have mother-infant relationship sessions, family strengthening and parenting
skills training, and “Bringing Out the Best” programs for parents and children to get the kids
ready to enter the school system. The support from the community has been overwhelming. We
are incredibly grateful to the High Point Furniture Market who graciously donated furniture for
the Center, enabling us to be the best that we can be.
We are so thrilled to see all of you here today. This event was designed with fun in mind,
and we hope that you all enjoy the festivities planned for you! I will be around, as will other
members of the Center, if you would like to learn more about the services we offer. In the
meantime, though, eat some food, bounce around in the bounce houses, dunk a few people, and
have fun!

Catering:
The HPCCF is a non- profit organization and will need to seek donations and sponsorships to
fund this event. By reaching out to these sponsors it is our goal to have enough food pledged
through sponsorships and donations to feed 100 families. In order to remain cost effective to our
sponsors in we will be asking 10 different sponsors to share the cost of this event. Although
relatively inexpensive these pledges will provide great food and memories for local families
while providing exposure and promotion for their business in our community. We will be using a
variety of well known sponsors throughout High Point, NC, examples of which include:
Barberitos, Dominos, Panera, and Ben and Jerry’s
Attractions:
We plan to use the same method of finding sponsors to secure a bouncy castle/ bouncy house for
our event. Through their sponsorship the host company will receive exposure and free publicity
that are likely to increase business in the future.
Location:
The location will be at HPCCF so there will be no cost.
The hope and goal for this event is to be fully sponsored, or to a minimal cost.

Chris Payne DraftSpeech We would like to welcome the family, friends, and community partners of High Point to the inaugural Family Fun Festival. We are happy to have you here to celebrate our first successful year as the High Point Center for Children and Families. This year has been full of a lot of ups and downs, but we have weathered the storm and are happy to be able to help those in the High Point community who need it. My name is Dr. Chris Payne. I am the Director of the High Point Center for Children and Families. Some of you here may not know what we are all about, so I wanted to give you all a quick overview of what we do here at the Center. We offer services to families who may find themselves in difficult situations. Our mission is to welcome everyone from all walks of life with open arms. We have mother-infant relationship sessions, family strengthening and parenting skills training, and “Bringing Out the Best” programs for parents and children to get the kids ready to enter the school system. The support from the community has been overwhelming. We are incredibly grateful to the High Point Furniture Market who graciously donated furniture for the Center, enabling us to be the best that we can be. We are so thrilled to see all of you here today. This event was designed with fun in mind, and we hope that you all enjoy the festivities planned for you! I will be around, as will other members of the Center, if you would like to learn more about the services we offer. In the meantime, though, eat some food, bounce around in the bounce houses, dunk a few people, and have fun!

Financially Feasible Catering: The HPCCFis a non- profit organization and will need to seek donations and sponsorships to fund this event. By reaching out to these sponsors it is our goal to have enough food pledged through sponsorships and donations to feed 100 families. In order to remain cost effective to our sponsors in we will be asking 10 different sponsors to share the cost of this event. Although relatively inexpensive these pledges will provide great food and memories for local families while providing exposure and promotion for their business in our community. We will be using a variety of well known sponsors throughout High Point, NC, examples of which include: Barberitos, Dominos, Panera, and Ben and Jerry’s Attractions: We plan to use the same method of finding sponsors to secure a bouncy castle/ bouncy house for our event. Through their sponsorship the host company will receive exposure and free publicity that are likely to increase business in the future. Location: The location will be at HPCCF so there will be no cost. The hope and goal for this event is to be fully sponsored, or to a minimal cost.
