The 1 Malaysia Merdeka Children Colouring Contest was jointly organized by three Lions Clubs at the Boulevard Shopping Mall. Over 600 children participated in three age groups and enjoyed door prizes. The goals were to promote unity and the spirit of Merdeka. The Children Colouring Contest was held at Level 3, Exhibition Hall, Boulevard
Shopping Mall. The contest was started from 9:30 am to 12:30 am. There are
three (3) categories which are Group A (Kindergarten), Group B (Primary 1-3) and
Group C (Primary 4-6) for the said contest. As per objectives, the designs of the
colouring paper for three (3) categories are incompatible. Contestants also entitled to a
door gift, include Ayam Brand Breakfast, F&N High Calcium Milk, Think In Motion’s
Cash Voucher & Pen, Flag and F&N Crunchy Ice-cream. There are
approximately 600 contestants. Our Invited Guests for the said contest are YB
Dato Lee Khim Shin, Mayor Lawrence Lai Yew Son and councillors.
