The Lions Club of Miri Lambir held a celebration for children event on October 1, 2009 at PDK Miri and Methodist Children's House. The event aimed to celebrate the Mid-autumn Festival with unfortunate children and create community awareness. Around 150 children benefited from moon cakes, drinks, and lanterns provided by the Lions Club of Miri Lambir with a budget of RM1,000.
