This document provides directions for students to analyze characters from F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby by listing color phrases associated with each character and drawing conclusions about what the colors represent about each character. Students are asked to list color phrases for characters Gatsby, Daisy Buchanan, Tom Buchanan, George Wilson, Myrtle, Nick, and Jordan on the front page. On the following page, students are instructed to write a sentence or two drawing a conclusion about each character based on the colors Fitzgerald selected for them.
