The College Drone Association was formed to create an
annual endowment for college engineering departments.
The CDA Endowment would be used to help finance
on-campus educational programs that teach and train
students for careers in the growing aerial Drone industry.
Demand for qualified FAA-licensed Drone Pilots and
Drone Engineers is expected to grow exponentially
according to Goldman Sachs Research, which forecasts
the drone business to be a $100 billion market
opportunity by 2020).

College Drone Teams Premise
• Colleges & Universities sign Endowment/Financing Agreements with the College
Drone Association to receive funding for Drone Education Programs sponsored by the
CDA and paid out of merchandising royalties.
• Each school recruits individual students to join the CDA Drone Education Program and
receive sponsor-contributed Drones, on-campus drone practice and training to
compete for a spot on their school’s College Drone Team going to the Drone Games.
• Each College Drone Team will compete to distinguish themselves while performing
specific tasks that new drone technologies are able to accomplish at a lower cost with
higher safety and efficiently than current practices performed by workers at risk and
subject to higher insurance premiums and operating costs.
• The Prize for victory will be Jobs for the Winners – hired by corporate sponsors in
need of qualified and proven Drone engineers and pilots.
