Conclusion
• Dust is an airborne pollutant; therefore it must be taken
seriously at all times. The necessary awareness, urgency and
action to avoid overexposure must be communicated and
known by all the stakeholders, especially the most exposed
employees.
• Employees are the company’s most important assets – we
must ensure that their occupational health is well taken care
of.
• This kind of practice must be avoided – health and safety is
not a matter of pleasing management, but a matter of
taking pride in our well being; and using the systems and
devices that are put in place to ensure that.
