Photos from my time in Ukraine from Kiev and Kremenchuk to the Helicopter Flight College.

2. Part of the training was at the campus in
downtown Kremenchuk. The rest was at a
military airfield outside of town.

Even through the interpreters, the training and materials were first rate.

went from the classroom to
working with flying Mi17s and
TV-3 engines

5. State of Lennon…(John Lennon?) on the square, a monument to the heroes of
Chernobyl, and one of the many monuments of the former Soviet Union. Ukraine
has left them up as a reminder of what was and can never be allowed to happed
again.

8. KIEV, KREMENCHUK AND UKRAINE
The country side between Kiev and Kremenchuk looks like “home” (Middle
Tennessee) with the mix of hills, fields, forest and lakes. The cities are
beautiful; though could use more litter control.
