Introduction
“The history of drama stretches back to some of mankind's earliest civilizations. It's always
fun to learn the history of a play that you're watching. You could be seeing something that
people have enjoyed for hundreds or thousands of years. Drama as we know it got its start
back in ancient Greece. Many of the plays written during the Classical period, from 525 BC
to 385 BC, are still performed today”

This is the most fun project for the culture and civilization. In a group of nine, we are given a
certain country and we have to perform a history play regarding that particular country. First
of all, we have to understand about that particular country as a group. Next, we choose the
most interesting or crucial part to perform. We arrange the plot of the play. After that, we
choose our characters and start to research more thoroughly about each characters. We also
do research about the costume of the characters and design our own costumes. Not only that,
we also have to write out our script. We practice again and again so that we can act well on
that day. We also do the props that are needed on that day to make the play more interesting.
Besides that, we also have individual work to do. We have to do an A5 size booklet and
design the packaging. The packaging of every members of our group are very different from
each other. Everyone has their own style of designing the packaging.
The main purpose of this project is to let us understand about the history of particular
countries. We have to do research about the history of a particular country through this
project. Not only that, we also have to understand the culture and tradition of that particular
country. When we are watching others group performing their history play, we also will
increase our knowledge regarding the history of a certain countries.
Short movies inspiration.

Portuguese Myth
The National Symbol of Portugal-The Barcelos Rooster
It’s mainly symbolized as HONESTY, INTEGRITY,
TRUST and HONOR.
This legends is mainly came from the story of a inhabitants
of a village in Portugal. At a banquet given by a rich
landowner in Barcelos, a valuable piece of silver was
stolen and one of guests was accused of the theft. He was
tried by the court and was found guilty. In spite of the
overwhelming evidence against him, he still protested his
innocence. The magistrate granted the man a final
chance to prove his case. Seeing a cock in a basket
nearby he said, “If I am innocent, the cock will crow.”
The cock crowed and the prisoner was allowed to go
free.

  • 6. The more you know about the past, the better prepared you are for the future. -Theodore Roosevelt This is the most fun project for the culture and civilization. In a group of nine, we are given a certain country and we have to perform a history play regarding that particular country. First of all, we have to understand about that particular country as a group. Next, we choose the most interesting or crucial part to perform. We arrange the plot of the play. After that, we choose our characters and start to research more thoroughly about each characters. We also do research about the costume of the characters and design our own costumes. Not only that, we also have to write out our script. We practice again and again so that we can act well on that day. We also do the props that are needed on that day to make the play more interesting. Besides that, we also have individual work to do. We have to do an A5 size booklet and design the packaging. The packaging of every members of our group are very different from each other. Everyone has their own style of designing the packaging. The main purpose of this project is to let us understand about the history of particular countries. We have to do research about the history of a particular country through this project. Not only that, we also have to understand the culture and tradition of that particular country. When we are watching others group performing their history play, we also will increase our knowledge regarding the history of a certain countries.
