• An Illinois-based banking executive with over 25 years of
experience, Todd Troeger recently worked as a vice
president at First Midwest Bank in Palos Heights. In
addition to his professional activities, Todd Troeger
supports several charitable organizations, including CMF
International, a Christian nonprofit group that serves
underprivileged individuals in 24 countries throughout
the world.
In addition to assisting families in the world’s most rural
communities, CMF International dedicates a large
portion of its resources to improving the lives of city
residents affected by poverty.

3. CMF International
• Through its Urban Poor Ministries, the group reaches
out to those in need and works to address their various
physical, emotional, spiritual, and financial needs.
CMF first focuses on helping individuals improve their
living conditions and gain access to basic resources such
as clean water, housing, sanitation, health care, and
public schools. The organization also offers financial
assistance through its Big Dent program, which provides
entrepreneurs with loans and vocational training to start
and maintain small businesses.

• In carrying out this work, CMF partners with
several other nonprofit groups, including the
International Society for Urban Mission (ISUM)
and Mission of Hope International (MOHI).

worked together to oversee the Hope
Partnership, an initiative that provides a range
of assistance services to the 2.5 million people
living in the urban slums of Nairobi, Kenya.
