Clued-In is a mobile and web application that allows users to share information about events and meetups using social networking technologies. It utilizes an architecture with GlassFish for the application server, OpenESB for service composition, OpenSSO for access control, and MySQL for data storage. When an organizer submits a new event via the mobile or web client, Clued-In notifies subscribers through SMS, email, IM, and Twitter. Attendees can then collaborate on the event page, accessing information, forums, and activities on both the mobile and web platforms. Clued-In is being demonstrated at JavaOne 2009 to allow attendees to submit and get notifications about events.
