ART Make a work of art that has clouds in it.  You can use paint, crayons, colored pencils or markers. On a piece of paper, write 3 things about the clouds that are in your art.  Click here  to see how you will be graded.
SONG Write a song or rap that tells  3  things you learned about clouds.  You can put words to a song you already know.  You have to sing the song for the class or  for Mrs. Baker. Standard: 3.3.3.A5:  Explain how air temperature, moisture, wind speed and direction, and precipitation make up the weather in a particular place and time. Technology Standard: Teacher NETS 2A – Design and Develop Digital-Age Learning Experiences and Assessments: develop technology-rich learning environment so student can pursue their own individual curiosities.   Student NETS 1A – Creativity and Innovation: students will apply exisiting knowledge to generate new ideas and products.
TEACHER RESOURCES Teachers, please feel free to modify this webquest as needed for your students! Another option:  Print out a copy of  this handout/graphic organizer  for each student in your class to fill out as he/she researches using the interactive PowerPoint. Once you have corrected the sentences, have students create Cloud Book-Arts using their handout as a guide. One easy way to make the Book-Art is to hold 4 pieces of white paper together and cut around the edges in a curvy puffy cloud style. Then have students write/draw pictures on the last 3 pages. The first page is the cover. When students have completed the Book-Art, staple the pages together on the left side to create a binding.
